The Clinton Inn is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for interior painting and repair services at its historic hotel. The project involves work across multiple areas, including repairs and painting, with all work expected to be completed by March 31, 2025.

Vendor Requirements
Minimum Contractor Requirements for The Clinton Inn
The following are the minimum qualifications that all contractors must meet in order to be considered for providing services or work at The Clinton Inn.
- Legal Business Entity
- Must be a registered legal business entity in the state of Michigan and in good standing.
- Licensure
- Must be a licensed contractor for the specific trade, with an active license in good standing. Proof of licensure must be submitted with any proposal.
- Insurance
- Must hold a general liability insurance policy. Prior to any project being awarded, the contractor must add The Clinton Inn (104 W Michigan Ave, Clinton, MI 49236) as an additional named insured with a minimum policy coverage of $1,000,000.
- W9 Form Submission
- A W9 form, completed with the contractor’s legal business information, must be submitted in order to be set up as a vendor in our system.
- Proposal and Payment Terms
- All proposals submitted must be firm. Invoices must match the proposal as submitted and approved. Payment made in full upon satisfactory completion of project.
- Any changes to pricing or the final invoicing will require a written change order, authorized by both parties before proceeding.
